  This is my baby with the new camo paint job. I had been wanting it painted like this for a long time, so I was very happy that it came out as good as it did.
  I really doubt that the paint on a boat would make more than a .1% difference to the fish, but it sure can't hurt anything.


  Three really cool, very curious otters I sighted at Clear Lk. Ca.

  A beautiful sunset over Clear Lk. with a little bit of "Fish Chris" PC artwork added. By the way, that old post in the center has a lot of relevance........ It marks an awesome offshore rockpile which has produced countless big bass for me, including 2 over 10 lbs !

   This photo was not taken with a telephoto lense.....This brown Pelican was so tame, it actually allowed me to literally get 3 feet from it to take this picture ! .........
......Then when he saw our trout lures, he had to come over for a closer look. I wish we could have fed it some Spotted Bass...........Make that "every" spotted bass in this lake !

  Another shot of my favorite engineering masterpiece. This photo was taken from the far corner of the dam, which is about 200 feet away from ........


  Only about 50 of the more than 500 Pelicans which were hanging out at Konocti Harbor on Clear Lk. Ca. in the Winter of 01/02. These birds were there for the same reason all of the huge catfish were......... tons and tons of Shad minnows ! Locals never remember seeing this many Pelicans at Clear Lk. !


  When the Shad minnows were up shallow, it was easy to get several pounds (enough for an awesome trip) in one scoop with the dip net ! Here is about 5 lbs of the best Catfish bait available. The really narrow ones are Silverside Minnows.

  Do you have a photo which is way cool ??? It does not even have to be fish related for this page.  Maybe you don't have it yourself, but can direct me on where to acquire it. Please think about this, and let me know.
