Here is "Mike from San Jose" with another double digit bass which he caught on a brown and orange jig at Coyote Lake Ca. This beauty went 10.2 lbs. !
Mike, who just caught a 12.8 lb'er a week ago (pg 14), had been trying very hard for a 10 plus bass for my site. Now in one week he has two of them ! Way to go buddy !
And hey Mike, you might like to hear, that in most cases, for whatever reasons, once a guy starts catching double digit bass, he rarely stops ! Continued success to ya'' !

Here is "Chabot Pro" again with another double digit hog in less than a week ! This sow went 10.4 lbs !
It was caught on a nightcrawler (big bass love a worm) and is Ryan's first 10 plus on live bait.
And by the way.......he caught it on my spinning rod ! Next time try using your baitcaster for fly lining those crawlers, while I stick the hog on my pole ! LOL
And what a photo huh ? That photographer must be a professional :-)

Here Ryan releases the 10.4 lb'er pictured above. I love it when they leave with this kind of energy !
When handling these fish (especially on a hot day like this) a good rule is not to keep the fish out of water longer than you can hold your breath.
We took a few photo's, then placed the fish back in the large net which you can see, holding the fish in the water, while we got the scale out, and turned the boat around for a better lighting angle. We then took a couple more pics and a quick weighing before the release.
