Trophy Bass Photos pg. 9
This page has been created for trophy bass guide Shawn Rogers. Shawn lives in Southern California, and he obviously knows the lakes in that area well. He also just started a web site called www.finesseangler.com. For more info. on Shawn's guided trips, or just to see a really cool trophy bass site, go check it out !

Here is Shawn with a good looking bass of 10 lb 9 oz which he caught on a silver Git-Zit and 6 lb fluorocarbon line ! Nice fish on any gear, but 6 lb test ! Yeeehaaa !

This is Shawn with a beautiful 12 lb 10 oz trophy bass that he caught from Lake Perris, in Southern Ca., on a Basstrix lure.

This is Pat Rizco, who was guided by Shawn to catch this monster 12 lb 8 oz bass ! He was using a 7" Power Worm on 10 lb test. Shawn are you sure that fish wasn't 15 lbs ?

Here is Shawn again with a really nice double trophy catch ! The fish on the left went  12 lb 6 oz and the one on the right went 11 lb 3 oz. If I catch two bass like this in a month, I call it a good month......... but in one trip !!!! Good job Shawn.

This is Craig, who was guided by Shawn, to catch his biggest bass ever, a monster bass of 13 lb 11 oz ! He caught the fish on a 10" Power Worm.

This is Craigs girlfriend, Lisa, who was also guided by Shawn to catch her largest bass, an awsome 12 lb 10 oz fish !

Shawn Rogers with an awesome 12 lb 13 oz bass. This one was caught on a Basstrix mega lure.

Shawn with a 10 lb 1 oz trophy bass , which was caught during the spring on a purple/green Wham crawbaby, with a 1/16 ounce Owner leadhead jig. Shawn was pitching the jig under docks, when the big fish bit.

Shawn got this 10 lb 6 oz fish, on 6 lb test ! and a Wham Crawdad. This pig was also pulled out from under a dock. Note: big fish will often pull away from cover, and run towards deep water, especially if you don't fight them too much at first. This makes it possable to land big fish on light line, or any line, for that matter if the fish is near heavy cover.

This is Shawn with a 13 lb 2 oz monster, which he caught  on a jig and pig. (note: jigs have long been known to produce trophy bass. This is because they imitate a favorite food of big bass............ crawdads !)

Another pig ! This one was caught on a 10" straight tail, chocolate worm, and pulled the scale down to 10 lb 6 oz.

Shawn making it look easy ! This hog went 11.7 lbs ! Nice fish dude !

Shawn with another hog ! This one tipped the scale at 10.4 lbs.
