Here's my first double digit for 04', a very nice 13.2 lb'er which bit a live dad. Although I don't use live bait anywhere near as much as I used to, the pre-spawn is maybe the most effective time to use it.

I wasn't even fishing for this fish..... but rather, for a smaller 8 to 9 lb'er (because I could not find any bigger ones up) when suddenly this 12.4 lb'er 'snuck in' and grabbed my lure :-) Like I always say.... "As long as you have a line in the water, anything is possible" ! :-)

Here I am with a nice 12.8 lb'er. This fish was very long, and could have held more weight on her frame, but in person, you could see that she was a pretty old fish, and was probably starting on a decline. Not a bad catch though.

This is Mark Dang, with his new PB bass, a beautiful 12.0 lb'er. Very nice fish ! Congrats ! So Mark, are you ready for a bigger one now ? :-)

This is Mark's buddy, Doug Wong, also with his new PB bass, a 13.7 lb monster which he caught at Del Valle Res. This lake probably does not have as many bass over 10 lbs as some other Nor Cal lakes, because it also contains the "ravenous" Stripers...... But that didn't stop Doug ! :-)

This is Gary Watts with a 12.23 lb hog which he caught at New Melones Res, on a Lucky Craft crankbait ! This is his new PB. Great catch Gary !

This is Manuel Garcia with a monstrous 16.5 lb trophy bass, which he caught while throwing a sinking swimbait ! What a fish ! Continued success to you Manuel.
