Misc.  Fish Photos  pg 4

This is Bob Tharratt with a 2.0 lb, 14 inch trophy Redear Sunfish from Rancho Seco !  Great story to this catch:
After I had caught a 12.1 lb Largemouth, I moved over towards Bob and his buddy Emil, to show it off before the release. We ended up having a great conversation, in which I learned that Bob and Emil were retired fisheries biologists ! Even cooler than that, Bob had had a large part in the planning of Rancho Seco lake back in the 60's !
I thanked him for helping to create one of my favorite lakes ! On a parting word, Bob told me that his biggest Sunfish in many years of fishing for them was a 1 lb 10 oz'er, but he was shooting for a legitimate 2 lb'er.
About 2 hours later I met them at the ramp where Bob informed me that he finally caught his 2 lb'er !  Great fish, and great guys !
Thank you very much for everything  :-)

This massive 49 lb, 45 inch Striper was caught by Jordan Pratt, on a live Gizzard Shad, during a guided trip by Shawn McNew of "Seein Stripes Web site and Guide Service".  What a monster !!!

This is Shawn McNew (link to his guide service above) with a massive Flathead catfish which weighed 71 lbs,  and was 54" long, with a  36" girth !
This monster bit a Gizzard Shad while Shawn was fishing for Stripers. It just goes to show, as long as  you have a line in the water, you never know what you might catch ! Incredible !

This is Allen Cole, inventor of the legendary AC Plug, with a very nice 32.5 lb Striper which he caught on his new AC Hatchery trout lure.

How's this for an unusual sportfish ??? For more info on Paddlefish, check out www.seeinstripes.com

Here's another "long-billed sportfish" in the 50 lb range. These fish fight very hard and require stout gear just to make landing them possible ! Both of these fish were released after photos and weighing.

This is legendary lure maker Allen Cole with a gigantic trophy Brown Trout which weighed an astounding 26.6 lbs !!!
It was caught on an AC Minnow. What a fish !

This is Shane Aviano with the junior world record White Sea Bass which weighed a whopping 59 lbs ! Great catch buddy !
Now that's a bass ! :-)

This is "Cane Pole Tom" with a couple of very nice Blue cats that he caught while fishing in the Cumberland River, TN. The little one was 27 lbs, and the big one went a whopping 43 lbs !
Continued success to you !
