Clear Lake Trophy Channel Cats 2002-03

	This is my biggest Clear Lk. Channel cat so far this season. This hog went 24.3 lbs and bit a Shad minnow on micro-light gear. She fought tremendously hard !!!

	Nope.... this one didn't quite go 125 lbs :-) ...... but it sure looks like it in the photo huh ?   Look.... my arms are even bent ! I don't know how this photo happened, but it actually weighed 23.5 lbs.   Anyway, this was one of those big, old, male cats which was very long, with a huge head, but not much belly.

	This is "araiderfan" with a monster 28 lb Clear Lk. cat ! This fish measured 38 inches in length, and would have been an IGFA world line class record for 6 lb test, had he known this and had it certified ! Great catch none the less !

	Yea' buddies ! Here's my biggest kitty for this Winter season so far, a 28.3 lb monster ! She fought heavy, but slow. Oops..... sorry about chopping the tail.... Geez these big, slippery things are hard to hold and photograph !

Well, there's still a few big kitties in Clear Lk. After a basically non-existent catfish bite for the Winter of 03-04, it appears that the 04-05 might turn out to be somewhat better. In the last three trips I have caught 18 cats, with an average weight of 15 lbs, including this healthy 23.6 lb'er :-) Really having to wade through 5 Carp for every Cat, but they are a lot of fun on the micro-light too.
