
	Here is Mike Caponigro with a long, lean trophy bass, which although spawned out, still weighed 11 lbs 6 oz respectively ! This fish was caught at Lk. Walk in the Water, FL. on a live shiner.


	I fished for this big green girl for 2 days on and off, until I finally snuck up on her at just the right time, and was able to feed her a 9" Castaic trout :-) I had been guessing her at 12 to 13 lbs while in the water..... She ended up going 12.5 lbs. Not a bad guess, huh ? :-)


	Amazingly, this 13.2 lb sow was one of the "smallest" bass among her three girlfriends ! The biggest was a 15 to 16, which also hit my trout lure, but did not hook up. This was my first double digit bass on a "sinking" trout lure.


	This is Ryan Bearden with an 11.6 lb hog which he caught from the Castaic Lagoon on a 4" purple Robo Worm. Good job Ryan ! Keep on em'.


	At 11.1 lbs, this was my 20th double digit bass this year, but the victory was bitter-sweet, as about 4 hours later, I hooked a 15 to 16 lb'er which after a crashing hit and drag burning run, came unbuttoned :-(


	Louis was fishing at Lk. Chabot with a Castaic trout lure when he caught this 17 lb 11 oz monster !!! Louis has caught numerous double digit bass in the past, including another 15 plus, but up until he caught this monster, he was reporting a tough year at Chabot. Another nice San Pablo bass. This hog went 11.4 lbs and bit the Castaic trout right in front of an audience of trout fishermen :-) I'm sure they all thought I was crazy throwing such a big lure...... until I pulled this one out !

One of the young guys who works at the marina said he had seen many big bass brought in to be weighed, but he had never actually seen one being caught until this one.


	This is Dennis Smith with a very nice 10.10 lb Delta bass which he caught on a Texas rigged spade tail worm. Good job !


	Tyson Kuhn was night fishing with a Culprit worm when he caught this 10 lb trophy bass.


	Here's Tyson with a 10.5 lb hog which he caught on a spinnerbait. Hey buddy, you sure know how to make these old guys jealous, don't you ? :-)


	This big girl went 14.2 lbs. She had a really large frame, and therefor she photographed well, but she was actually not very thick across the back. With a little more beef, and a couple more hatchery trout in her belly, she could have easily weighed 16 plus lbs ! ....... but I'm not complaining :-) She bit the Castaic trout on a slow retrieve just under the surface.
