Trophy Bass Photos  pg. 25

  This is Louie Novoa with a very nice 10.5  lb trophy bass, that was caught at Lk. Dixon Ca. on a jig ! What a flawless fish !


 
  This is Louie's son Mike, with an absolute monster of a bass ! This giant was also caught at Lk. Dixon and weighed an astounding 17 lb 10 ounces !!!


  This fat, healthy bass weighed 10.2 lbs, and was caught on a Castaic trout at San Pablo Dam Res. I would bet this fish was only about 6 years old.


  I caught this 10.5 lb'er on the same trip as the fish above ! It also ate the Castaic trout. Although these fish were close in weight, I would guess this fish was much older...... Maybe say, 10 to 12 years.





  My new PB of 14 lbs 6.4 oz......... but I don't think it will be my biggest for very long :-)
As soon as I got on the water, I could feel the barometer plunging....... a new moon the night before...... trout were planted the day before...... How could I miss ? I just knew I was going to catch a hog, and 30 minutes later, I was holding this beautiful momma at the end of my arm ! What an unimaginable adrenaline rush !!!  She bit a 9" Castaic trout off the end of a main lake point which drops abruptly into 80 feet of water.
  Now if I could just figure out what photo to use...... What do you think ???

.....and of course, the release. Can't wait to catch her again when she weighs 17 plus lbs :-)


  Here's Nico with a very nice 10.8 lb'er which he caught at San Pablo Dam Res. on a Castaic trout Swimbait. He also caught a 9.9 lb'er the same day !

  This is Chris Campbell with a 10 lb'er
(but I dunno...... looks 12 lbs to me :-) which he caught on a topwater lure and 8 lb test, at Lake Suzy, Florida. Awesome catch !


  This is Sean Graf with an awesome 11.28 lb hog that he caught from New Melones Lk. Ca. This is a huge accomplishment, as not only is New Melones predominantly a Northern Strain Lk, but also, Sean caught this fish during a TOC tournament, helping to win him a first place finish !  Excellent catch !


  Persistence was the key with this 10.9 lb hog that I caught from San Pablo Dam Res. I had thrown the trout lure for 9 hours without putting a fish in the boat, when this fish finally railed my trout !
