Introducing Bobbie and Butch Gayle, a husband and wife trophy bass hunting team who live in Plains Texas. There favorite trophy bass lake, O.H. Ivie, is 4 1/2 hours away. But looking over this page you will quickly see why they make that voyage as often as possible !

Bobbie and Butch have used many different artificial lures in the past, and in fact, Bobbie's 12.75 lb lake record was caught on a spinnerbait. But now days they predominantly use live waterdogs and Bluegills, which by the way are completely legal in Texas..... as I believe they should be in Cali. If you stop and think about it, no state cares more about the well being of there bass fishery than Texas, yet most live baits are legal there. Cali could barely care less (when speaking specifically about trophy bass), yet almost all live baits are illegal here. Hmmmm. Whatever works guys, as long as it's legal, I am all for it !

Bobbie does it again ! What a bass ! In case anyone was wondering about the background in the photo, Bobbie and Butch have a very large tank in there barn. Since this fish had a few sores on it, plus because of the depth it was caught from, this fish was kept in there tank with medicated water for a couple of days to insure its health, and then was released. Now that is going the extra mile !

	This hog went 12.8 lbs.


	Here's Butch with one of his most recent hogs.


	This 13.69 lb monster bass is Bobbie's personal best, and was donated to the Texas "Share-a-lunker" program and later released. What an awesome idea for the betterment of a trophy bass fishery !


	This hog went 10.9 lbs. Very nice fish.


	At 12.3 lbs, a sho' nuff' trophy bass anywhere in the country !


	This beautiful bass pulled the scale down to 11 lbs even.


	You will notice by there clothing, that Bobbie and Butch catch trophy bass at all times of the year ! This lunker pulled the scale down to 12.8 lbs respectively.


	Most guys would be happy with the 8 lb'er on the right, but the kicker here was this 11.8 lb trophy !


	This 12.75 lb bass was a lake record at that time !!! Awesome !
